Established in the 1970’s, Progressive Plastics has grown to be a nationwide supply of plastic packaging to New Zealand wide food producers.

In 2020 we invested in additional equipment and moved to a purpose built production and warehouse facility allowing us to maintain current and future customer requirements.

In 2025 Flexopack (www.flexopack.com) invested in Progressive Plastics as a shareholder providing access to an extensive range of highperformance flexible packaging products.

NEVILLE CHISHOLM
Neville comes from an engineering background and has worked both in New Zealand and abroad. He acquired the Progressive Plastics business in 2016, attracted by its solid foundations and the potential for positive growth. He and the team are excited by new industry opportunities.

PRODUCTION MANAGER
DIEGO ALVAREZ
Diego has had a wide ranging career in engineering, fabrication and production with companies in Dunedin and his native Argentina. Diego is responsible for the production of all packaging products from our thermoforming machines including our compliance with food safety requirements.
